NEOSIZE 920 is an AKD-based (Alkyl ketene dimer) reactive sizing dispersion that improves the process efficiency in neutral or alkaline conditions. Because of the product’s cationic charge, it retains very well on the fibers.
As recently it is proven that many relative advantages of neutral papermaking over acid papermaking include good permanence, high strength, and recyclability of paper, many papermakers have made a conversion to neutral papermaking rapidly.
